Nora Hollis (Drummond) Obituary - 1945

  Mrs. Nora Hollis of 1006 East Twelfth Street, died Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in her home following an illness of four years. 
  She was 38 years old, was born in Virginia and had lived in Chester for about 15 years. She was a former proprietor of a hairdressing establishment in the city before she became ill. 
  Her survivors are her husband Joseph Hollis; one son, Pfc. William Alfred Taylor, who is now serving with the Army in the South Pacific, and a daughter, Miss Catherine Taylor, of Eddystone, both by a previous marriage. 
  Two brothers, Frank and Noah Drummond, both of this city, and two sisters, Mrs Elizabeth Guthrie, of Footland, Md., and Mrs. Amanda McCrudden, of this city. 
  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home of John L. Llancy, Broad and Upland streets. internment will be in Chester Rural Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening.
